23 Crónicas Provinciales IMÁGENES DE LUGARES, EDIFICIOS Y OBRAS DE ARTE EN LA PROVINCIA DE BADAJOZ RESUMEN El tratado histórico que se presenta en este estudio ha sido posible, una vez más, por la extraordinaria colaboración de la Excma. Diputación Provincial de Badajoz, cuya imagen corporativa se inserta al pie de cada instantánea junto al nombre de aquellos aguerridos fotógrafos que con su cámara al ristre recorrieron infatigables la provincia más extensa de España, captando las situaciones de aquellos emblemáticos monumentos, demostrándonos su belleza arquitectónica, su historia y en particular, las obras de arte y el tipismo costumbrista de las gentes de aquellos recónditos lugares que aferrados a su terruño y campiña hacen reflexionar al lector de este trabajo sobre la decisión turística a estos lugares, aunque actualmente, muchos de ellos hayan cambiado su fisionomía, no perdiendo con ello, el encanto octogenario e histórico de aquella época. Auténticas reliquias artísticas y edificios monumentales que, tras el paso devastador de las hordas guerreras, sufrieron la furia adquisitiva, grandes desperfectos e incluso se propició su desaparición, ya que las fotos que ahora se presentan fueron tomadas, posiblemente, antes de 1928, exponiéndose todas ellas en la Exposición Iberoamericana de Sevilla inaugurada el 9 de mayo de 1929 y clausurada el 21 de junio de 1930, siendo más de 56 localidades que reflejan las 112 instantáneas que ahora se ofrecen. ABSTRACT The historic treaty presented in this study has been possible, once again, for the extraordinary collaboration of the Hon. Diputación Provincial of Badajoz, whose corporate image is inserted at the bottom of each snapshot against the name of those seasoned photographers that with his camera tirelessly toured the largest province in Spain, capturing the situations of those iconic sights, showing its architectural beauty, its history and in particular the works of art and treble manners of the people of those remote places that cling to their homeland and countryside make the reader think this decision of making tourism in these places, although now many of them have changed its physiognomy, thereby not losing, the octogenarian and historic charm of that era. Genuine artistic and monumental buildings relics that, after the devastating passage of warrior hordes, suffered the purchasing fury, major damages and even their disappearance, since the photos are now presented were taken, possibly by 1928, exposing all of them in the Latin American Exhibition of Seville, opened on May 9, 1929 and closed on June 21, 1930, with more than 56 locations that reflect the 112 snapshots that are now offered.
